Shipping + Returns

SHIPPING:
We want nothing more than for you to get your new The Penny Depot into your hands! All products in the shop are ready to ship, unless the item is labeled pre-order or custom. Orders will be shipped within 72 hours after payment is received Monday-Friday. Shipping typically takes 5-7 business days.

  • The Penny Depot is not responsible for any damage that occurs during shipping or in cases where USPS staff loses/misplaces your package.
  • Expected delivery dates are just that- when the USPS system expects that your shipment will arrive.
  • Once the item is shipped by The Penny Depot, unfortunately we are unable to control or assist in the process of of delivery. Any information that is on the USPS tracking website is what we are able to see with regards to the status. If your order says delivered but you don't have your The Penny Depot item...first, we suggest you contact your local post office to see if they have any insight. If that doesn't work, we find that submitting a lost package claim through the carrier's website. If you can't track down the package within 5 days, please contact us for the next steps!
  • For international customers, please be advised that The Penny Depot is not responsible for any potential import, taxes, tariffs, customs, duties of fees that may incur for international orders.
  • We offer international shipping to a few countries for an additional fee. Please email hello@thepennydepot.com if you'd like to request an international shipment.
  • For RUSH production inquiries please email hello@thepennydepot.com to see if your item is in stock or can be moved ahead in production for a $45 fee.


REFUNDS:

The Penny Depot items are 100% handmade with copper pennies produced in 1982 or earlier. Some color variations will be shown on the pennies as we use circulated pennies and each penny will show variations and the final product will be unique and varied with each penny.

Do not leave child unattended with this item as the penny may pose as a choking hazard. This item is handmade and not always able to withstand curious baby and toddler hands. The Penny Depot Designs is not responsible for any damage caused to this item due to a child.

I want you to love my The Penny Depot item as much as I do! However refunds or returns will not be issued for the handmade items. Please email me with any issues or questions at sales@thepennydepot.com.

RETURNS:
We take great pride in our work and want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. We do accept returns, but there are some requirements.

You may return The Penny Depot products that is unworn, unaltered and with the original packaging still sealed from The Penny Depot for shop credit within 7 days of receiving your item (based on the USPS tracking number).

  • Email sales@thepennydepot.com within that time frame AND include the order number in your email.
  • Buyer is responsible for shipping costs to The Penny Depot.
  • The Penny Depot pennies or accessories must be received in original condition as sent out to receive credit.
  • Once we receive your return, you will be contacted within 7 business days. All items will be inspected before an exchange or store credit is issued.
  • Shop credit  for the return will be for the purchase price of the product only. Shipping and/or delivery costs will not be refunded, reimbursed or part of the store credit.
  • Please note, all custom, pre-orders and sale items are final. Returns are not accepted for these items.
